Please conserve the Rosemere Golf Course as a Green Space

Hello,

I am a descendant of one of the first families to settle in Rosemere. My family owned a part of the golf course as part of their dairy farm. I had a wonderful childhood spent, for the most part, playing outdoors on the golf course and in the neighbouring woods. A dream environment for me, my siblings and my friends. The woods are no longer there, having been destroyed to expand the golf course during it's last years in operation, but there is still an opportunity to conserve the rest of the land. Having a green space to enjoy and appreciate the beautiful surroundings is EXTREMELY important. I still live relatively close to where I grew up and I walk every day in the Tylee Marsh, which has been preserved as a green space. It is one of my happy places. I used to walk on the golf course on a regular basis but, since it is in the hands of a private owner, I do not feel welcome to enjoy this beautiful space, which I believe should be available to anyone who wishes to feel the benefits of being in a natural environment. This is a very important way to promote a healthy mind and body. PLEASE save this amazing, natural space as it would be a great and permanent loss if it were to disappear.
